Born of the need and desire for understanding and partnership, the Forum of Bible Agencies - International, was launched in 1990. Its first annual meeting was held in Horsleys Green, England. During the 1990s, Forum members built and strengthened relationships. Several cooperative projects were begun. Member organizations also began developing a number of common goals and standards.
In 2003, the Forum named its first Executive Director, Dr. Roberto Laver, who served with the Forum until December, 2009. The Forum gained incorporation status as a not-for-profit entity in May of 2004.
Today, there are more than 25 members of the Forum working together to mazimize worldwide access and impact of God's Word.
